The Railway Ministry has introduced new rules ensuring automatic lower berth allocation for women above 45, senior citizens, pregnant women, and persons with disabilities. The upgrade covers sleeper, 3AC, 2AC coaches and aims to make long-distance travel safer and more comfortable.
