A municipal employee was arrested for accepting a bribe near Puliyangudi in Tenkasi district. The person who was asked for a bribe of Rs. 15,000 for determining property tax for a new house and did not want to pay it, filed a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Police. Following this, the Anti-Corruption Police have arrested the municipal employee red-handed.
