A youth from Tiruvarur placed wooden logs on railway tracks near Singaperumal Koil twice to shoot ‘reels’ showing how a train would derail. Railway police identified and arrested him. Iron clips used on tracks were also found in his bag. The incident caused major shock over passenger safety.
