Diwali festival is to be celebrated on the 20th (Monday). Since tomorrow is Saturday and the day after tomorrow is Sunday, the public has left Chennai for their hometowns. Due to this, there has been heavy traffic jam at many places including Chennai’s kilambakkam, Mamandur Bridge, and Singamperumal Temple. Passengers are suffering a lot as vehicles are lined up for about 2 kilometers.
