Vellore District SP Mayilvaganan has ordered the transfer of 28 police officers, including SIs, who were working in the Gudiyatham Prohibition Enforcement Unit in Vellore District. This action has been taken following a series of complaints about the brewing and sale of illicit liquor in the Gudiyatham area.
