DMK: Sources familiar with the matter state that candidates will contest under the “Udhayasooriyan” symbol in 8 constituencies in Madurai during the Tamilnadu Assembly election 2026. While DMK candidates will contest directly in seven constituencies, MDMK candidate Bhoominathan will compete in the Madurai South constituency under the “Rising Sun” symbol.
