Since the DMK came to power, the Kalaignar Women’s Rights Grant scheme has received a positive response. Currently, a total of 1.30 crore women are receiving Rs. 1,000 per month. Meanwhile, reports have emerged that the Tamil Nadu government is considering making changes to this scheme.
