Minister MRK Panneerselvam, speaking to reporters in Sivaganga, said that arrangements are underway to distribute the Pongal gift hampers. He stated that Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will announce whether the Pongal gift amount will be ₹3,000 or ₹5,000, and assured that the decision would be one that brings happiness to the people.
