In Tamil Nadu, 6.48 lakh people have applied to have their names added to the electoral roll following the publication of the final voter list. In this context, a new voter list is scheduled to be released on April 6. All individuals featured in this list will be eligible to cast their votes in the upcoming Assembly elections.
