The tunnel boring machine named Vaigai on Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase-2 Route 3 has successfully completed its work and reached Mandaiveli station. The ‘Vaigai’ machine has successfully completed the metro rail tunnel boring work for a distance of 775 m from Chennai Greenways Road to Mandavelli.
