Following the Pahalgam terror attack, our country has suspended the Indus River Water Sharing Treaty. Due to this, Pakistan is suffering from the lack of Indus River water. Apart from that, the Central Government is taking serious steps to ensure that not even a drop of water goes to Pakistan in the coming days. As a part of this, work has been urgently started in Jammu and Kashmir.
