The Union Cabinet has approved the construction of a 4-lane highway from Paramakudi to Ramanathapuram. This work will be undertaken at a cost of Rs. 1,853 crore. This road will be constructed as a 4-lane national highway from Paramakudi to Ramanathapuram, covering a distance of 46.7 km.
