Due to an upper air circulation system formed over the region, various parts of Tamil Nadu witnessed intermittent rainfall today. Against this backdrop, the Meteorological Centre has forecast that rain accompanied by thunder and lightning will continue to fall tonight in four districts, including Madurai and Virudhunagar.
