The weather department has forecast light rainfall in parts of the Western Ghats due to an upper-air cyclonic circulation over the southeast Arabian Sea. In the coming days, rain is also likely in South Tamil Nadu and delta districts, while mist conditions may increase in Vellore, Ranipet, and the Nilgiris.
