Following the exposure of a silk shawl scam last year in Tirumala Temple, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced an important procurement decision to prevent similar irregularities. The temple administration stated that new measures will be implemented to ensure transparency and proper monitoring in the purchase of silk shawls used for religious rituals.
