Thirukarthigai Deepam festival is being celebrated with great pomp at the Thiruparankundram Subramania Swamy Temple today. The Mahadeepam will be lit at the top of the hill at 6 pm today. Thousands of police personnel have been deployed for security work on the occasion of the Karthigai Deepam festival.
