The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court dismissed a petition challenging restrictions imposed on the Thirupparankundram Dargah Sandanakoodu festival. The earlier order allowed only 50 participants and banned animal sacrifice and non-veg cooking. The court ruled the appeal against the single judge’s interim order was not maintainable.
