The ruling DMK government in Tamil Nadu presented the 2025 budget today, and its ally, the Communist Party of India (CPI), has welcomed various aspects of it. However, CPI State Secretary Mutharasan has also expressed dissatisfaction regarding issues such as job security for contract workers and the rejection of pension benefits under the 100-day work scheme.
