The restriction on Tamil Nadu government-appointed priests, Prabu and Jayabalan, who completed the state’s Archakar training, from participating in the Trichy Vayalur Murugan Temple Kumbhabhishekam was lifted. Under the law allowing people of all castes to become priests, both Prabu and Jayabalan took part in the Kumbhabhishekam ceremony at Vayalur Murugan Temple today.
