The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has directed the Tamil Nadu government to pay ₹10 lakh as compensation to a woman who lost her job due to an incorrect notification issued by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). The court held that the administrative mistake severely impacted her employment prospects and ordered the government to compensate her accordingly.
