In a case filed by the Tamil Nadu government against Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi, the Supreme Court has ruled that not only the Governor but also the President must take a decision on bills. That is, the Supreme Court has said that a decision should be taken on the bills sent by the Governor within 3 months, and in case of delay, the state government should be informed of the reason for it.
