There is a need to expand the Chennai airport. For this work, the authorities have decided to demolish houses in Kolapakkam. They have decided to acquire 15 acres of land for the expansion of the airport. When the authorities went to measure the houses for this purpose, there was a commotion as the public protested and started shouting.
