A gang of four people who tied up a jeweler at a star hotel in Vadapalani, Chennai, and robbed diamond jewelry worth Rs. 23 crore and escaped in a car were caught and arrested by the police in Thoothukudi within the next 12 hours. The arrested person, Vijay, has given a statement to the police about how they staged the Rs. 23 crore diamond robbery plan.
