The Chennai Corporation is planning to introduce a system of charging fees based on the length of time vehicles are parked at Chennai Marina Beach. The system will be implemented by the end of July and, depending on the response to the project, the corporation is planning to implement it at Besant Nagar and Neelankarai beaches as well.
