During the last delimitation of Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies, the votes of minorities, specifically Muslims and Christians, as well as those of Scheduled Caste communities, were scattered. VCK leader and MP Thol. Thirumavalavan emphasized that the upcoming delimitation should be conducted in a way that ensures their votes are valued and not dispersed.
