Due to a shortage of gas cylinders, a notice board has been displayed at a hotel in Egmore, Chennai, stating: “Meals are unavailable; only variety rice will be served.” Consequently, the range of food items offered at most restaurants across Chennai has been curtailed due to the scarcity of gas cylinders.
