The state government has decided to increase the prize money offered for lottery tickets in Kerala. That is, the prize money for lottery tickets with a first prize of Rs 70 lakh and Rs 80 lakh has been decided to be changed to Rs 1 crore from now on. Similarly, the price of a lottery ticket sold for Rs 40 will now be sold for Rs 50.
