A five-member committee has been formed to hold alliance talks between the DMK and Congress. The Congress high command has set up the panel under the leadership of Tamil Nadu in-charge K. Rish Choudhary. P. Chidambaram welcomed the move, saying it would put an end to the ongoing disputes over the alliance.
