Crude oil prices in the global market have surged by 41 percent, reaching $103 per barrel. As a result, the supply of cooking gas in India has been severely disrupted. Consequently, the Central Government has announced that residents in rural areas will now face a waiting period of 45 days to book a gas cylinder. This announcement has sparked strong opposition across the villages.
