A shocking incident has taken place in which an 80-year-old woman was gang-raped by some unidentified persons near Panrutty in Cuddalore district. As her health deteriorated, they also stole the amulet and nose ring she was wearing. Meanwhile, one of the persons involved in the case was shot dead while trying to escape from the police.
