Ranipet constituency: The DMK has not fielded Minister R. Gandhi-the incumbent MLA for the Ranipet Assembly constituency-in this election. Instead, the party has given the opportunity to contest to his son, Vinoth Gandhi. Amidst this development now Minister Gandhi seeks seat from this constituency.
