With regular tickets getting sold out within minutes, Southern Railway has planned over 150 special trains from December 15 for Pongal 2025. These trains will cover major routes including Chennai–Madurai, Chennai–Tiruchy, Chennai–Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, Ramnad, and Thoothukudi to handle the huge festive rush.
