The Chennai Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in 8 districts of Tamil Nadu today. An orange warning has been issued for extremely heavy rain in the rain-affected areas of Coimbatore and Nilgiris districts, and a red warning for very heavy rain tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
