Vande Bharat Sleeper trains are ready for launch and will first operate on the Guwahati–Howrah route, to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi next week. The minimum fare will be charged for 400 km even for shorter distances. Only confirmed tickets will be issued—no RAC or waiting list. The train can run up to 180 km/h but will operate at 130 km/h for safety.
