In Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Sathya Sai district, at the Thoomukunta Industrial Park, a nationalized bank was robbed last Sunday night. Thieves used a welding machine to break open the bank’s back door, making off with 10 kg of gold and ₹38 lakh (INR 3.8 million). Police are reportedly blaming a specific error by the bank management for facilitating this significant heist.
