The central government has amended the pension rules to provide that employees who are dismissed from public sector undertakings will not be entitled to retirement benefits. The Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021, have also been notified that this practice will be applicable to central government employees appointed on or before December 31, 2003.
