Old Pension Scheme:Tamil Nadu government panel headed by Chief Secretary Gagandeep Singh Bedi has submitted an interim report on the long-pending demand for the Old Pension Scheme. The committee studied OPS, NPS, and a hybrid model, holding nine rounds of talks with 194 employee unions and collecting detailed pension data from over 7.36 lakh employees. The final report is expected soon.
