Former Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai has questioned why the temple Executive Officer filed an appeal against the Madurai Bench High Court order directing the lighting of the Deepam at the Thiruparankundram hilltop pillar. He pointed out that the Dargah administration had remained silent regarding the order, raising doubts about the EO’s decision to challenge it.
