A survey by alumni of Loyola College Chennai has sparked debate by predicting that All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) could lose deposits in around 80 constituencies in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Since the death of former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, the party has struggled to secure major electoral victories and is now striving to regain power in the next polls.
