The world-famous Tiruchendur Murugan Temple has announced a ban on night stays along its seashore during Pournami days. The move follows increasing theft cases and security concerns, as thousands of devotees believed staying overnight on the beach and worshipping under the full moon fulfilled their wishes. From now on, no one is allowed to stay on the beach between 10 PM and 4 AM.
